NW Freight is a family owned and operated business and have been operating in the furniture removals industry servicing all over South Australia and Interstate over the last 21 years.

The three men that packed, delivered and unpacked the truck showed great care from start to finish and resect for both properties and our belongings over the entire 8hr move.

My only feedback is that communication prior to the move could have been more clear. We had multiple calls in the lead up with confusion regarding addresses etc. and confusion with email correspondence.

Having never used a mover before we weren't sure what to expect. The Find a Mover service gave us some good options. Fixed fee was better as it took a lot longer than we anticipated. Company was professional and service was good. Only breakages were because I didn't pack the boxes carefully enough. A couple of glasses and plates were the only casualties. All the gear handled well and packed securely in the trucks. We underestimated how much gear we had and a second truck had to come as well.

There was a bit of a hiccup at the start regarding pickup dates, however, Fran was very reassuring and sorted out the issue within a few hours. It was an honest mistake and Fran owned up to it and made it right. This type of honesty is what I love about smaller companies.

Unfortunately we had to move furniture ourselves the day after. They did not allow enough room for a five bedroom house in the removal truck.
Whist the quote was good we had to pay for a rental truck to complete the move.
We were also expecting 3 men and only 2 arrived thus the move took longer than expected.
On a positive note the 2 men were excellent.

This Removal business has been taken over by the son of one of the partners of Winklers/.
He talked on his mobile most of the day (some of the time buying a new truck). He apologized
but continued to make phone or receive calls leaving the other worker (who it turns out was the original
owner!) to do most of the work. A difficult situation to have to deal with when I was moving. This same person

It is amazing how one's true colours show when not face to face. I was on and off the phone for a total of approximately 30mins not all day like the client is claiming. I not only made the client aware of the fact that I had to make these phone calls prior to making them, I also apologised afterwards, It was a totally unavoidable situation that day.
There was no set quote for the job, only an hourly rate. Unfortunately the client seems to have forgotten that I deducted $100 from the price of her move, an amount which was more than adequate compensation for the time lost.
The client is also unaware that my offsider who worked that day, was rewarded an extra 1 hour pay for his efforts during my downtime. I do not deny the fact that I had to make important business related calls that morning, but I am very disappointed that the truth has been stretched quite considerably. A most disappointing outcome for all concerned.

Great timing, great communication, great care of the goods.
Only thing that wasn't perfect: I have been charged for 2 hours, while it took 1 hour and 15 minutes.

NW Freight were really great! The 'boys' did their job efficiently and with good humour (which helps in a stressful situation like house moving :) The quote was spot on with half an hour to spare - even with the queen size bed-base having to be carried down 6 flights of stairs!!!!!! :( Sadly the interior lift size changed since I moved into the Apartment building). Full marks to the whole team at Access and I have no hesitation to recommend them to others. Cheers! Mrs G.
