During my 15 years in the removal industry i have seen the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright disgusting aspects of the industry, i have heard hundreds of stories from my customers about there past experiences and misfortunes, from there so called removalists, these include, being late or not showing up at all, working slow to get paid more, damages, unloading goods onto front lawn, even throwing furniture off the back of the truck, obscene language through to mental and physical violence towards there paying customers, valuables gone missing in transit etc.

It pays to research any business before making a booking to ensure you and your goods are being cared for like they should be and you receive the quality of service that you deserve. Quick easy ways to check a businesses quality of work and legality is to google them, read there reviews, check there ABN is valid. If your unsure about anything, ask questions.

At Farnell Removals & Transport we try to take the stress away from the client from the very start to the very end, when a client calls they are greeted by a friendly staff member that can actually answer the questions that the client needs to know, not a machine, no being put on hold, no pressing buttons. When i am awake the mobile phone is on, it gets turned off when i go to bed, and turned on as soon as i wake up the next day. I've used Farnell Removals twice now (and just booked for the third time). One move was from Sydney to Brisbane, the other a local move within Brisbane. On both occasions I was very happy with the service I received. Trevor and his team do great work and for a very competitive price. Moving is a stressful thing and booking these guys takes a lot of that away. Highly recommended!

I have used Farnell Removals a number of times, once for my local house move in Deception Bay, the 3 men that showed up on time were brilliant, i had a full house and full double shed to move, I ordered a full pack and unpack also, it was a very large move in the middle of a heat wave, i thought it would take 2-3 days but the guys worked hard all day and had my goods unloaded, unpacked, beds put together just after dark. Boxes were free and removed afterwards for free, I was given my pension discount ($150.00) without having to remind them, i wasn't charged for travel and the move went perfectly from start to finish. I have since used them to transport a piano from Adelaide and a mobility scooter from Victoria, both arrived quickly, well wrapped and undamaged. I have recommended them to friends and family that have also used Farnells and have also been very happy. They deliver what they promise and i would highly recommend to anybody.

Hi Alan, Thank you for the review, i remember your removal well, it was a huge move with a lot of packing, we were all glad your new home was so close to the depot, i think i was asleep before my head even hit the pillow. It makes it all worth while when we get positive feed back like that. I will pass the feed back on to the other 2 guys also, it has been a while since the move but i'm sure they will remember.

Just like everyone to know that i have used this business a number of times and have been extremely happy with the the removalists, they arrive on time every time and are the quickest hardest workers that i have seen in a very long time, the conduct, speed and quality of workmanship they provide is excellent, they are my first port of call for any of my transport needs, highly recommend!

I found farnell removals to be an extremely professional business that did not hesitate to go above and beyond regular customer care to ensure an extremely carefree transition to our new house .I cannot recommend farnell removals high enough . thanks trev for a truly stress free move :)

Trevor & Jody were very efficient and professional with communication, quoting, packing and the move. They arrived on time to pack, and arrived to my new place early. Everything was safely packed with no damages on arrival. I have contacted them since for another move, and have recommended them to friends and family.

Just a quick thank you to Trevor who organized my move at late notice and fitted me in at 4pm on a friday after I'd had a very stressful day when another local mover didn't bother to show up and wouldn't answer my calls, the price was cheaper than the other place and even though I was there. 3rd job for day they still worked hard and quick. I'm glad the other company didn't show now because I have found the business that will be my first call for any future moves. I will be telling my friends and family about you Thanks again. The guys were very qualified and enclosed all our furniture in thick blankets, which was great because we have a lot of unique antiques. we move every 6-12 months as we are tenants and have used many other removing companies in our time, in the 40yrs we have been married and moving this was our only move without a drama and not a single breaking, we couldn't even find a new scratch on anything.the total price of our move was a lot cheaper than we had expected and we got a seniors discount as well. Very Please and would highly recommend!
