We help you transit your goods from Melbourne to around Australia. In addition we also assist you with a wide range of additional moving services: We can help you move house or office. We can also help you whether you are in a major city or in the country.
Office hours: 7am – 5pm Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday
Moving hours:24/7 including holidays
Minimum charge of two hour plus travel time, if applicable.
30-minute increment charge after the first two hours.
We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard and AMEX.
There is a surcharge of 2% for VISA and MasterCard, and 5% for AMEX. Payment must be finalised on completion of job.

When they arrived, they had brought a larger truck than they said they were going to, without my asking.
After looking around my house, they told my husband (didn't mention anything to myself) that I asked for a quote on a 2 bedroom house not a 3 and this was more furniture than they had quoted for. This was untrue, as I had even listed each item of furniture to be moved. Kept telling me I was lucky they brought a bigger truck.

These guys are exactly the removalists you try to avoid. They called the day prior to try to move the time of booking which wasn’t convenient for us. Some of our furniture was scuffed and dirty but no major damage. Most annoyingly, they quoted a fixed price (after inspecting our house) for furniture + 20 large boxes and 38 small boxes then on moving day they say there are more boxes than quoted (there was actually less than originally quoted for) and charged an extra $100! They charged me extra because of the flight of stairs. I told them both in the online booking and verbally about the stairs. Then they had a go at my friend about the distance to the final destination. Surely a quick google maps would have revealed that earlier. When I queried the cost they said them would call me back and never did. The quote also said it was 85 including GST but then they charged me GST. In total it cost me $140 more than I expected. I am extremely disappointed.

I booked days in advance of needing the service and confirmed a 10am pick up. On the day I rang to confirm, they were unfamiliar with the job despite me putting it in writing. HG Removals came with a big truck, a little late. 2 guys took care of our furniture. Quote which was given to us stated charge was from door to door at $99 per hour, but we were charged extra 1 hr fee which they stated in email confirmation. Great service at a good price, managed to make it all the way from Melbourne to Adelaide in 24hours rather than the 48hour minimum discussed. These guys even sourced out some additional man-power to unload the truck on arrival to ensure a hasty move.
Very happy with service. A great company to use to get from A to B on a budget.
