The actual move was really really good, the guys were friendly and professional. I didn't appreciate all the contact beforehand though. I got pressured into changing the time of the move 3 times before we settled on a time the morning of the move. It was unnecessarily stressful all because they wanted to get three moves done in one day. I shouldn't have been involved in their scheduling issues.

They were hours late and an hour into the job their trolley broke and they asked me to go and buy a replacement one from Bunnings of which they gave money for. so they did not lose time whilst barely moving anything in this time. They moved really slow as being paid by the hour. Had to come back next day and the removalist indicated would take around 2.5 hours to complete and took a further truck and a half and most of the day. Also they told me to take the glass legs of the coffee table as they might break if they took them. I have no words to describe this company and would not recomend.

The movers rocked up a solid 2.5hrs later than scheduled. The guys came and scoped up all items in the house and started moving them promptly. The job could have been closed out faster. But no stress as items were handled with care. May evaluate other service providers before approaching Universal movers, purely from a punctuality viewpoint.
