Lee from Rham transport was very helpful in making sure our belongings could be picked up and delivered on the days we needed them to be. We didn't have any breakages, despite some scratches in two pieces of furniture and one box which arrived wet. The guys who unloaded our belongings in Brisbane were fantastic, very friendly, and did everything in 1 hour. My only complaint is about the two guys who picked up our stuff in Sydney: 3.5 hours to load a small 1 bedroom unit. They said it was because there was a long walk, but they loaded half of the apartment in 40 minutes, and then just vanished for 20 minutes. When my partner went down to check if everything was ok, they were just sitting in the back of the truck doing nothing. After that, they were taking over 10 minutes after loading each piece to come back up, and at some point I saw them through the window sitting on the truck seats having lunch. It was meant to be a 2h job, and they managed to have a full lunch break in between. In the mean time, me and my partner could not have lunch ourselves as we had already packed everything and we had to stay there waiting until they left. We were tired and very hungry as they arrived first thing in the morning. They were very inconsiderate, and were clearly purposely buying themselves time as we had to pay for an additional hour that they took. When we questioned them about all the breaks they lied to our faces insisting it was only one 5-minute break for water. One half of the apartment took 40 minutes and the other half took 2 hours and 40 minutes. They also left a big scratch on the floorboards, even though we told them not to drag the trolleys on the floor. I think the service overall was good, despite those two staff. We were happy our things arrived on time and undamaged, and happy with the two guys in Brisbane. It would be good if Rham Transport held their staff accountable for fooling their customers around.
