Had a negative experience with CT Movers to move a 1 bedroom apartment to a new 2 bedroom apartment which was 3 Min drive away. Quote had been obtained and agreed with relation to hourly rate and stairs charges for moving the couch down/up 3 floors. We had already moved boxes and most small items ourselves, leaving the furniture for the movers. I reserved parking bays nearby to the apartment lobbies for the truck. The 2x Removalists were 2 hours late to the job, arriving approx 3pm. Imm...

Would never use these business every again Was a mess from the start. Booked via one company had another company calling me saying i had booked with them when i hadnt. when they finally showed up truck drivers went and parked around the street for 30mins before showing up at my apartment then i had to pay for an extra hour of work. the delivery people just dumped boxes even though items were marked breakable. disappointment all round considering they should have been picking goods up at 7am...

Mover was 45 minutes late without letting me know beforehand so Police could not remain to supervise hostile move as arranged. Mover failed to deliver TV power cord and took days to get back to me when I asked them to check the truck for it costing me $15 to replace. Not great service, next time would choose second cheapest. Range of quotes from find a mover was great.

This left me in a bad position. To there credit, they rectified the situation very quickly and had someone sent a few hours after the original booking time.
