I am very happy that I chose JD Movers. All the fees were clearly marked. The two workers were very professional and helped me to disassemble and install my two beds very well. The moving speed was also ideal. The staff was friendly and positive, the communication was smooth, and my belongings were well taken care of. Even though the building manager of where I lived caused me a lot of trouble, I was able to complete the move smoothly with two workers' help.

We had to reschedule 3x due to our new-build being delayed and also add in additional furniture and Eric was very flexible to accomodate our changes. On the day the team were efficient in packing the van and were happy to fill it with additional boxes and bags (which we didn't quote for) to help us move as much as much as possible. No breakage, damages or lost items. As this was one of the cheaper quotes we received, we are very happy with the quality of service we received. Thank you Eric and the JD Mover team!

Could have been better, with e-bed installations and other matter, it wasn't steady yet. It was expensive with a 2-hour minimum rule, so about 20 minutes of time left yet not satisfying service.

This company is arguably the worst moving company I have ever had the displeasure of working with.
Not only were they so slow that they took four hours to shift a 2br 2ba apartment's worth of items into a truck, they failed to bring a truck large enough for everything to fit despite being given a clear quote detailed everything we had to bring and on top of that, they left my belongings unattended on the city street despite being explicitly told not to and this resulting my $200 mirror being stolen under their supposed watch.
We had to order a completely different moving company to transport the two desks, fridge, washer and double mattress + frame they failed to fit in their tiny truck (items they were warned about in the quote) and were out of pocket $750 from these guys alone - let alone the extra $450 it cost to get a second company last minute to clean up their mess.
These guys will not care for your belongings, WILL waste your time and when you rightly claim their supposed insurance for negligence they will gaslight you and leave you on the road with nothing but bitter disappointment.
Don't trust the high reviews, because they fooled me too.

Ben and his partner were able to move everything into the truck in the 2hrs we had the lift booked for. They came equipped with plenty of trolleys and dollies to ensure swift transport of all items. Only 4 stars awarded for punctuality as they were 15 mins late. And also only 4 stars for care of goods as they snapped the hose that connected our washing machine to the tap when uninstalling and also lost one of the feet from our fridge. Ben and his partner made us aware of both issues along the way though and we actually found the missing fridge foot in the lift after the move was done and also had a spare hose for the washing machine at our new place. Overall, we were happy with the service from JD Movers. They were the best value for a reasonably good moving experience.

JD movers were beyond fantastic. This was a really difficult move with a lot of stairs and the boys were fantastic. They kept a happy joyful disposition and never slowed down. Fit strong and very skilful removalists. I am giving them an absolutely glowing review. I couldn’t have been happier. Thankyou boys.

Made a last minute booking and they were able to fit me in. Extremely fair pricing and great service. They were prompt and very efficient with their time management. No wasted time, straight into loading the truck and unpacking it at the new apartment building. Would definitely use them again!

Most of the other reviews have been great, so maybe we got them on a bad day. Late to arrive, long time to load, crazy long travel time to the new destination, then a long time to unload. Clearly marked boxes and obvious items weren't put in specified rooms, big dings in the fridge and washing machine... Moving would be a tough job, so I'm pretty forgiving on most things. But I've moved a lot over recent years and I dunno, this experience wasn't great. One of them liked my dog, that was nice.

The whole experience was awesome.
It was a big move from Point Cook to Ballarat but JD movers made it look easy.
Right from the booking of the service till the time they finished loading stuff at our destination everything looked well co-ordinated.
Eric was very prompt in replying to all my email queries. The movers were very professional and friendly and take great care of all our household items.
Hats off to you guys for your exceptional service.

Overall very good service, despite arriving later than expected (although they advised via a sms) they did the removal perfectly - No damage on any products, happy to connect the washing machine and stack the dryer on top - Would certainly recommend & use again if ever moving.

Had to do multiple loads (x 3) because truck was too small. Not the fault of drivers as job was under quoted.
Disassembled furniture then did not re-assemble.
Turned into a huge hassle. Do not recommend. Shocked they have a good rating.

What can I say? JD Movers were one of the best removal experiences we have ever had!!! They were early, they got us to double check all the details regarding payments and what we had been quoted so there was no miscommunication in the end and they handled all of our belongings with care. They were 2 very friendly guys who were happy to have a laugh but also got the job done right! If we ever had to move again, we would 100%, without hesitation use JD Movers again. Highly recommend!!

I have never done a review, either good or bad before but i feel i need to do one now because of the excellent job done by Eric and his off sider. Hard working, fast and took great care of our stuff. How they fitted the amount of gear we had into that truck is an absolute mystery. Top blokes and i couldn't rate them highly enough. Cheapest price out there with the greatest service.

Eric and his colleague showed up at 8am sharp and worked very hard to move us from a two storey town house to three storey town house. It was very hard work, with narrow staircases, on a hot day, but guys did a fabulous job and at the end they even removed the rubbish for a very reasonable price. Absolutely delightful people and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who needs help to move house.

The boys were fantastic, sent a message the morning of the move with an approximate arrival time, dealt with the skinny driveway situation really well, were quick and efficient in packing up our two story house that was terribly organised thanks to an emergency hospital visit and recovery whilst we were meant to be packing everything up - and drop off at the new house was just as quick and efficient. Hubby was expecting to pay a lot more on the day so we were very pleasantly surprised at how affordable the whole move was. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We did two moves, both went well without a hitch except for being several hours late to the first one. The communication was good during the delay, but it really did mess our planning up with kids and move timing.

Eric & his colleague were prompt , professional & took great care of both our goods & our homes. They used ramps on the steps to avoid jolting so no dints were made & furniture was wrapped in the truck for protection.
It took a little longer than quoted but we may have had more stuff in the end than what I initially listed but the truck was the perfect size.

JD Movers were fantastic. They took care to ensure no damage occurred to either my belongings or house during the move. Beds were dismantled and reassembled. Both removalists were friendly, helpful and polite.
They were delayed a few hours before arrival but this was out of their control, and due to an earlier client underestimating the amount of boxes that needed removing.

We had a great experience with Eric and JD Movers. They ensured to update us with their time of arrival and took care with our possessions. There was a mishap with a small cupboard, but this was quickly resolved and Eric was more than happy to pay for a replacement. We will definitely be looking to use them for future moves.
