Generally good. Unfortunately, during unloading, they were scraping the trolley on our new timber floor when dropping things inside. We ended up with damage to our floor. I actually had to tell the guy to stop doing that. You would think that would be an obvious thing to not do. No apology or anything by the way.

The guys turned up however either didn't listen or understand what i had asked. I advised them what needed to go into a 20ft shipping container first but this wasn't done. I also watched on as they let one of my storage boxes slide down a ramp, tip and spill. They packed the truck well on the way out and took care of the bigger things. They'll move things for you but would appear to be thier way.

These guys are fantastic! We had a very smooth and convenient move and the movers were taking care of everything neatly. They were absolutely on time in the morning and working reasonably quick. After the move, there were only minor marks on the washing machine, but no big deal. Moving time calculation was quite fair and door to door policy was accurately in place. I've seen other movers and I strongly endorse Kahlon Movers for high quality and fair price service. Would recommend them for sure.

Overall they were effecient, courteous and did a great job. They were meant to arrive between 12-2pm however arrived at 3pm due to a prior client delay. In hindsight it all worked out with my stuff delivered at approx. 5pm however I was anxious about the delay due to accessibility at my apartment block and traffic. The 2 guys were great, they didnt waste any time and got right into it. Thank you Kahlon Movers, i would definitely use you again.

Very good communication on the time of booking, the movers arrived on time and has handled all our things really well, it took only around 4.5 hours to move our 2BR house from Oakleigh to Deer Park, and the best thing is Kahlon movers does not charge for the stairs as were on the 2nd floor. Their packing ability is amazing as they we able to use up every last available space of the truck. Only minor issue was the truck broke down for about 20 mins while in transit between the locations.

Kahlon movers were the best movers we’ve ever had. The guys were professional and extremely efficient. We used someone else to move in and it took over 4 hours. Moving out with Kahlon movers we were done in just 2.5 hours. They’re really clever with what they take on each load, how they load up the truck so that everything fits, and they are constantly moving - there is no standing around and wandering what to take next or how to do it. They just do it. Money well spent. These guys are the best in the business.

The lads did an outstanding job efficiently moving my apartment furniture to my new home. There was never any miscommunication between me and the vendor. They arrived on time (actually slightly early) and finished two hours on to the minute! They somehow managed to fit a massive 6-tonne truck easily into the tiny laneways for both residences and were able to carefully and efficiently load and unload my gear. They were obviously very experienced and were about to dissemble and appropriately stack my belongings. They were also kind enough to re-set some of these up in the new house.

Arrive on time, got started and they were slow moving. Never made any rush and would always opted to carry the small light objects rather than doing the large furniture which is why I hired movers. Took almost 2 hrs longer than quoted and I had less stuff than what I put in the quote. And they arrived 10 minutes after I did at the drop off although I ran errands along the way. All this cost a lot more money than quoted and not a good experience. In the end I was rushing them to get my stuff out of the van so they didn’t slow me down rather than assisting with making the job faster

I moved my stuff from 2 bedroom unit to a townhouse from ParkVille to Glenroy. As described they came with a 4.5 T lorry and 2 movers. Both are very efficient but bit careless. Overall they did a good job with dissembling and assembling the beds and a cot. I would like to recommend them to any other with the following advice. You should pack any fragile items using bubble wraps or any other wrapping material to avoid get broken during the transportation or else do not move any fragile items using movers.

I got attitude from the movers when I asked them to be careful, particularly with the new renovated unit I moved into. The security door was broken off hinges as they pushed it back too far getting furniture in rather than taking time to remove legs from chair etc so it fit through better

I moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in Hawthorn on the first floor to a single level unit in Clayton. The service received from Kahlon Movers was great. I corresponded with Sunny over the phone and via sms to book in a date and time for my move. It took some time for them to get back to me on email initially but following up they did respond. I sent an sms to Sunny the day before my move as well to confirm. The arrival time was to be between 8am and 9am, the two men arrived at 8:45am. I did have to ring Sunny though as I got concerned when I hadn't heard any update by 8:30. They were very careful and took their time to think about how best to move our items. A great effort on their part to get our 2.2m sofa bed down the stairs which had two turns. I was so pleased that they shrink-wrapped the sofa around the outside as it prevented it from getting dirty as they tried to slide and manoeuvre it down the stairwell. They also shrink-wrapped my coffee table and tall boy. The quote for our move was 3 hours. It ended up taking just over 4 hours. The men were polite and like all other reviews, very careful which I really appreciated. I think they did take their time and it could have been completed a little bit quicker (as they moved quite slowly) in 3.5 hours. However, I was not unhappy with their service, so I would recommend Kahlon Movers and will definitely use them again in future should I need to move.

Sorry to say that the first time I used Kahlon was a much more enjoyable experience. This time the truck was too small for our move, the guys that turned up didn't really speak any English which made communication extremely difficult & after they left I have progressively found more and more damage to my things. Hopefully this is the last time I move for a very long time, and if I do happen to have to move again I would not hire this company again. Very disappointed as they were SO good the first time.

Horrible service. Would definitely not recommend!! I booked Kahlon movers purely based on all the good reviews. However there's not a single good thing I can say about the service! The removalists came very unprepared e.g. only brought one trolley and also didn't have anything to protect any of our items. As a result, our mattress arrived damp from the washing machine leaking onto it in the truck. They also crashed their truck into a sign on the street when parking and caused a fair amount of damage. This didn't give us much confidence in how they would handle our belongings!! The two removalists were very slow and if it wasn't for my husband and family members helping out, the 5 hour job (for a one bedroom apartment) would have probably taken about 10 hours. They were apparently told by their boss that it would only be a two hour job (even though we were quoted three hours), however it ended up taking around 5 hours, which they didn't seem very happy about. As a result, they wanted to dump all our furniture and boxes in the one room when they arrived at our new house to get it over and done with rather than putting things in the rooms they were meant to go in. I'm not sure why my experience was so poor compared to everyone else's, however it appears that Kahlon movers sub-contracted the job out, as one of the 'removalists' told us that it was his first day ever at moving a house and he found out about the job through Gumtree. Very disappointed in the overall experience and would warn others that when booking based on good reviews, be aware that you may not get the same people doing the job that others are basing their reviews on!

I have recommended them to two friends who are about to move home. They were fantastic. Arrived on time, took excellent care by being careful and using plastic/bubble wrap/fabric, etc to protect furniture, and placed items in the new house as instructed. Excellent communication throughout - from booking to move - to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction.
